Singkawang – Marking its 10th anniversary, the Indonesian Public Tax Consultants Association (AKP2I) held a National Working Meeting (Rakernas) at Swiss-Bellinn Singkawang. The event was attended by representatives from the Central Executive Board (PP), Regional Executive Board (PD), and Branch Executive Board (PC) from all over Indonesia.
AKP2I Chairman Suherman Saleh said that the 10th Rakernas AKP2I was an important moment for members of the organization and stakeholders in the field of taxation to continue to make breakthroughs and innovations in supporting the national taxation ecosystem.
"Through this event, various updates and organizational reports that have been submitted since the congress was held some time ago will be presented. This congress also serves as a momentum for AKP2I to continue improving and innovating in an effort to make the organization even better," he said in an official statement on Wednesday (11/26).

He added that the 2025 National Working Meeting also serves as a forum for collaboration to strengthen the association's role in providing constructive input to stakeholders.
"This event will be followed up with the results of the discussions, ranging from short-term, medium-term, to long-term plans. With a spirit of togetherness, this event is expected to produce the best proposals for the organization," he added.
In his report, AKP2I General Secretary Gontam also said that this National Working Meeting is a follow-up to Article 14 on deliberations such as congresses and national working meetings.
"This National Working Meeting is a series of events following the election of the new Central Executive Board (PP) for the 2025-2030 period. To date, AKP2I has 22 Regional Executive Boards (PD), 54 Branch Executive Boards (PC), including the North Sulawesi (Sulut) PD and 4 PCs that will be inaugurated tomorrow," he said.

As of November 2025, Gontam also stated that AKP2I had 1,672 members, consisting of 394 Primary Members, 987 Intermediate Members, and 291 Junior Members.
"If we look at the last 5 years, there has been a remarkable increase because previously there were only around 900 members," he added.
The agenda for the 2025 AKP2I National Working Meeting (Rakernas) includes: First, discussing the organization and membership. Second, training, certification, and professional development. Third, cooperation, public relations (PR), and publications. Fourth, advocacy-related matters.

Not only that, through the 2025 Rakernas forum, it was also agreed that Bali would host the 2026 AKP2I Rakernas, marked by the handover of a plaque from the previous host (Singkawang) to the next host (Bali).
